"Vim, at first," says Osrik, eyeing the man intently. "Maybe elsewhere once we get there. We're looking for people. And what is your business there? Who are you?"

"Hmmm, I might ask you the same thing Sir Dwarf. I am Silthond, Ranger of Otillis, and I believe we may be going in the same direction. I heard there was a Half-Elf around here someplace who was also traveling in that direction. I was hoping to run into her."

Tara, Alecsa is at the Inn, you heard it was the best place around here to stay.

Osrik looks at Silthond with a bit more respect. He's heard of the Rangers of Otillis and knows they are generally trusted. "I am seeking my father and brother. Before the war, we lived in Vim. When it became dangerous to stay, I took my mother and sisters home to the Holbrooks, but they stayed on to protect our home and forge there. I have not heard from them since."

Chaedi smiles and says, "I'm looking for a man named Dex. He's a friend of my friend, Sir Dudley Whitehelm. Sir Dudley and I, we... well, my parents forced us to separate. I long to see him again." Her voice drops to a whisper, and she looks very sad, for just a moment.

Silthond says "I believe my older brothers, Murthond and Chilthond, have had some dealings with this Sir Whitehelm. I understand he helped the Duke in some fashion, something to do with uniting all the lords of Kinergh under the banner of Tisloch. I don't know where he might be now, or where, Sir Dwarf, your relatives might be, but I am going out to Vim to see what the situation is there and talk to Dex. There is a group leaving in a couple of days, you could accompany me if you wish."

He looks around the room again and then says "Ah, there are the people I was looking for."

He is looking over at a couple of women who seem to have just entered the room. (Gloriana and Alecsa).

Both Chaedi and Osrik look over at the two other women. They're interested to see what their potential traveling companions are like. Osrik says to Silthond, "We'd be honored to travel with you to Vim. We will be here at the Inn in two days time, ready and waiting to commence the journey." Chaedi rolls her eyes. Osrik's slightly pompous turn of phrase is just not her style. "We'll be ready," she agrees, "with bells on."

Meet Up at the Inn

OK, summarizing Friday 30th of August, 2008 [Um, Friday was the 29th, Tod]: Chaedi, Alecsa, Osrik, Cinoi, and Gloriana all met each other at the Inn, they all want to go to Vim for various reasons and Silthond told everyone to meet him at the Ferry Gate in 2 days. Osrik visited the Temple of Klay and found out lots of people from Tisloch seem to pray there every day. Cinoi, Chaedi, and Alecsa visited the park, which has a nice view of Lake Tial.
