Into the Cave

The party decides to cross the stream and enter the cave at the bottom of the cliff. Chaedi almost poisons herself playing with a deadly mushroom. Alecsa then explores a side passage and discovers an owlbear! Osrik and Gloriana rush in to help Alecsa and an intense melee erupts. First Osrik and then Gloriana are knocked down, but Dex runs up and feeds Gloriana a healing potion. She then manages to get Osrik back on his feet and the owlbear is defeated.

Since the party has expended most of its daily powers and several characters are already low on healing surges it is decided to retreat from the cave. Alecsa goes back to the entrance and discovers there are hobgoblins around the manor and the party decide to hole up in the owlbear lair instead. They search the owlbear's nest and discover some treasure

The treasure is 400 gp, a potion of healing, and a suite of +2 leather delver's armor.
